Designing Wholesale Custom T-Shirts Online: Things to Remember
Currently, there are numerous t-shirt options accessible to the general public. T-shirts are found in nearly every department store in the US and are widely popular throughout internet businesses. T-shirts are available in a broad assortment of colors, sizes, styles, and materials. Prior to making your final decisions for a top notch t-shirt, you will want to muse on a variety of factors.
Before you design and create a custom t-shirt, you need to select a size. Sizes range from those appropriate for newborn babies to big and tall sizes. Sizes on the extreme ends of the spectrum, big or small, may be more difficult to find during the process. If the size you seek is quite rare, you may need to find a company that not only designs and prints t-shirts, but can custom sew one together for you. There are unisex t-shirts that are made to fit a wide range of wearers, both male and female. These types of shirts are appropriate in cases where you are not sure as to what the size of the person the shirt is intended for is. Placement of the design should always be kept in mind when designing a shirt made for people of different shapes and sizes.
The material is one of the most important facets to consider when designing or buying a t-shirt. There are tons of choices, some of which being silk, hemp, bamboo, wool, and the most popular, cotton. The chosen fabric affects every other decision from this point forward in the customization process. Certain techniques work well with different types of fabric, while others are less ideal. Depending on the function of your customized shirt, 100% cotton is almost always a safe fabric decision due to its high versatility and compatibility with techniques.
About Crooked Brook Custom T-Shirts
Although the most popular method of printing t-shirts is screen printing, Crooked Brook t-shirts are printed using Direct to Garment Printing (digital garment printing or DTG) which is the process of using inkjet printers to print an image directly onto t-shirts without the use of screens like with screen printing, which requires a lot of setup e.g., creating screens for each color.
In addition, DTG printing uses eco-friendly, water soluble ink, unlike some screen printing methods that layer Plastisol (a suspension of PVC particles in a plasticizer) on top of the t-shirt. The only requirement for DTG printing is for the image to be high resolution, resulting in photograph quality printing with no setup fee or minimums for custom t-shirts.
