Listings in US Manufacturers
According to the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the manufacturing economy of the United States is the largest in the world. 21 percent of all goods manufactured around the globe are manufactured in the US, which means the US is out producing the world’s other leading manufacturing countries, namely the world’s second largest manufacturing economy, China at 15 percent, and the world’s third largest manufacturing economy, Japan at 12 percent. Although the US is currently leading in global manufacturing, this 6 percent lead is quickly dropping. NAM attributes this decrease in global manufacturing leadership to a lack of manufacturing policy that provides the support our manufacturing sector needs to remain competitive.
